Finding Your Voice

Our vision is to give people struggling with substance use disorder or other debilitating emotional, social, educational or physical factors a purpose to get through each day. Our hope is that their creativity in telling their story through the arts and music will not only make them feel their lives are worth living, but also inspire others struggling to do the same.

Let’s Give It Up for Alicia Keys!

We want to give a shout-out to Alicia Keyes for her enthusiastic and generous support of the Foundation and the recovery community it serves by inviting us to bring people suffering from substance use disorder to her concert in Boston.  Everyone was so grateful to be able to experience an amazing performance by an amazing person.

Their Stories - In Their Words

The process of writing lyrics and creating art to tell their story inspires participants to face their own personal reasons for destructive behaviors. Recognizing and acknowledging the causes of Substance User Disorder and Behavioral Challenges allows those struggling to focus on long term treatment, recovery and personal growth.

The Let’s Give It Up Foundation provides an expressive outlet, using the creative process to increase self awareness and raise self confidence.

Our team of writers, musicians, and producers take participants in recovery programs into a music studio to record their lyrics over The Serenity Song or over their own song.
